These models contain enhanced friction, braking and resistance parameters by team-ALCO, specifically by Ian Bowles.

These locomotives have been designed for use with the LightFx lighting enhancement. The installer will install this enhancement for you. Click on this image for more details.

1. You will need to have installed the "Alco DL500 cabview" available from the Cabview page to be able to operate these models;
    
2. You will need to have installed the "44/442/930 Alco Sound Set (DL500)" by Belphegor to able to operate these models; this sound set is available from the Sound-set page on this site.

2. Download and run the cabview and sound set installers.
    
3. Note: the horn is aliased to the default SD40-2 diesel (part of MSTS v1.4).
